An email has been received from Kerry Miller who is a sports historian writing a history of Taunton Rugby Club. One of its former players was a W. Wilshaw who also played for Moseley and was a gym teacher at Huish's. Mr Miller is keen to identify Wilshaw's correct first name so he can make his appearance in his forthcoming book a little less formal.
Mr Miller states he has checked ancestry websites which point to either Wilfred or William.
If you happen to know the correct first name(s) please let Nick Williams know, on oldhuish@outlook.com

The Old Huish Association holds an Annual Dinner in November of each year, and has done since at least 1904
We get requests from across the world, hoping we have some information about former pupils, or sometimes adding to what we already know. We don't maintain any form of archive - requests go online and may or may not trigger a memory in a subscriber.
We have a large collection of photos, especially from the days of the Huish Grammar School - classic form photos, school productions, school activities, historic views and ….,
Here's a schedule of forthcoming OHA events
